Restaurant - Vannes
Bistrot modern day ...
Since April 27, 2015, after two months of renovation work, 'La Tête en l'air' was opened in the historic district of Saint-Patern. Mismatched furniture, tables without toppings, raw materials and warm colors give the place a modern bistro air where one feels like home. The three rooms, which can accommodate up to 45 guests, lead to the open kitchen with glass roof workshop way, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.
In the dining room, Estelle, smiling, accompanies guests throughout the meal, from table to table to exchange a few words, distill some tips on wine or explanations of the dishes. In the kitchen, Clement offers a short menu, 100% Homemade and renewed each week, oriented around fresh, seasonal ingredients. Trained in Paris at an inn, the chef likes to mix tradition and modernity, to present a taste of cuisine, accurate, sincere and genuine. Cellar, the choice fell on the eclectic, combining several large houses, many wines discovery of wine growers, sometimes organic, often in farming, to satisfy all tastes and all budgets. Again no wine list but large slates on the walls display the available references of the moment, which are divided into wines by the glass.
'T he table being the matchmaker of friendship', the only motivation that drives the young couple to spend quality time with all those who cross the restaurant door.
